Sorry, it's yet another location comparison thread

So I'm a recent transplant to Chicago living in the lakeview neighborhood for a little under a year in a studio. I love the area but have decided that living the studio life is less than desirable, and getting a gut-rehab 1 bedroom in the neighborhood is just not going to work with my income. Plus, I've been feeling that it's about time to start "branching out" if you say and trying something new.

So far I've looked at 4 places that have new(ish) condos:

Granville & Kenmore

Balmoral & Kenmore

Montrose & Broadway

Wilson & Clarendon

Currently, I'm ranking the Edgewater addresses at the top of my list but is anyone able to explain if one is better than the other?

I lived really close to Montrose and Broadway before, but we need clarification, it is ON Montrose, or a bit south or north

^ It is right on the corner of Broadway and Montrose, in the wedge that separates Broadway and Sheridan.

I lived about a half block south of that (really close to the gym and Jewel) and loved it.
