3.) The city dosen't feel very unique to me... It just feels like a rather larger prototypical U.S city...

4.) The women are only average at best, which is suprising for a place with so many people.
I like how I read each of these and immediatly thought the exact opposite.

HAHAHA, if you are looking to start an arguement on here, at least have the common sense to list legitimate negatives about here. No mention of the lousy weather, rotten roads, rampant corruption in government, a boob for a mayor, a rediculos murder rate, rotten public schools, the parking fiasco, but you list no sexy women and lack of clubs, and that it's an average city???!!! As compared to what? Indy? Cleveland? Orlando? Atlanta? Dallas? Houston? Denver? Now those are all run of the mill ordinary US cities... Chicagos ordinary lol pfft Are you kidding? lol! Go away and come back to the table with something of substance. LOL! And don't come back with the fact that the Cubs suck. We know that. LOL! JK northsiders.

You get what you pay for. Salaries are higher in the big city, too.

Like I said ...

Chicago happens to be a city. It actually is not all that dense -- check the east coast cities which don't have alleys.

City life. What you mention is really indicative of most urban areas, including London. If you want to live in a small town, then do so. Don't come to a major urban area and then carp about the fact that a lot of people live there.

What does one expect? Mayberry by the lake?

Chicago does not have an ordinary downtown. There are not many cities in the world that have as aesthetically pleasing a downtown as Chicago does. Outside of downtown???
Chicago can feel pretty average save for a few unique feeling neighborhoods. The people are average. The food is average (imo after traveling abroad) The natural scenery is about as boring and average as you can get.

1.Why should I consider Minnie the alternative. Why not someplace warm?
2. Chicago payscales do not match its cost of living anymore
