I find that hilarious. Seriously? Theyre in Chicago and miss Chik-fil-a? Wow. That would be like me moving to Beverly Hills and stating I miss Maywood.

Steve-o.

Seriously.

Have you ever had Chick-fil-a?

I am very much from the Carolinas and moved to Chicago for a lot of reasons. If there were a real urban city down south (an honest-to-God, car-free, public trans, concert venue, ethnic enclave, skyscraper, neighborhoody City), I'd have already moved back to the Carolinas for the sheer fact that it's close to my family and old friends.

However, there are TONS of things that make me prefer Chicago to the Carolinas.

However, before I would move to the burbs of Chicago, I would move down South.

I used to live in TN. Does that answer your question? There was one in Murfreesboro that we went to, and there was also one right in Clarksville.

Dont get me wrong, its not a bad place, but I just find it kinda odd that people would move to Chicago and miss a chain restaurant. Just seems odd to me, thats all. But, I stopped and thought how much Id miss Portillos if I moved out of state again.

Well, if anyone else could make a freakin chicken sandwich, it wouldn't be an issue.

You know, Pizza Hut once made a "Chicago-style pizza", too.

Totally the same, right?

Yes, it's weird, but I myself miss Steak N Shake (I know there's some in the burbs but I can't get to them) and Sonic. I miss both restaurants' shakes. I mean, if you can find me a place in the city with shakes equivalent to sippable sundaes and coconut creme pie shakes, I wont miss them anymore.

God I hate Chick-fil-a ... they had one at the food court in college and because of it, the Burger King Express only had burgers and no chicken and it made me sad because I love those stupid chicken fries at BK more than life itself... they're like my crack.

If you really wanted Steak n Shake Supernerdgirl, you could get to the one in Evanston without too much hassle. Just take the red line and then a bus west (it's at 2209 Oakton)

I only like shakes in the big metal cups. Margie's Candies makes awesome malts and shakes that put Steak-n-Shake to shame.
