I have to move an apartment's worth of furniture from Hyde Park and a storage locker on the southwest side to Evanston next Wednesday. My step dad is an apartment manager and there are 2 guys who work for him who can help me move. Do you think it's better to rent a U-Haul truck, (or other company if you have suggestions,) or get a moving company? I have never moved furniture before. Thanks!

If you have strong men to help you and there are no steep stairs or twisty corners, I would just U-Haul.

My U-Haul move from Westmont to Wicker Park, including gas was less than $150... more than worth the few hours of pain!
