Both Calatrava and Perkins and Will have filed liens against the property... Sadly, this is becoming commonplace around town. Once the cranes on the skyline have finished their current work, there will be a big lull in high-rise construction. No one is bringing anything on line in Chicago right now.

the spire is luxury too. there is a reason why the rooms are so expensive. but they're good quality and the location is total bait for buyers. take my word for it. IT WILL BE BUILT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

obama is from chicago and knows what to do with the economy. he'll make sure it gets built. and, so much has been sold. including all the penthouses.
