Will it be completed? Undoubtedly. Will it maintain its 2,000 foot design? That remains to be seen.

Do you know there is a ~150' whole in the ground for the building's foundation- it's going up.

I don't know, Block 37 has been variations on a hole forever, and now it's an unfinished CTA eyesore ... so don't be so sure.

Trust me, they have their work cut out for them. The odds are still against this project.

Here's the deal. I know some project insiders, and they tell me the construction schedule doesn't go beyond any foundation work at this time. They are taking their sweet time too. If the building is "under construction", it's easier to sell units.

1/2 of this project is being funded from inside. The other half from the bank. Last one in, first one out..... Not a tough sell. They still need to drill seven Caissons, to the bedrock, around the hole. They've got some foundation work to do yet.

I read an article that talked about how most of the buyers are foreign. Foreign buyers make up the majority of buyers in South Florida. They are snatching up all the luxury properties.

That's correct. It's actually being marketed primarily overseas. The US dollar is so weak, this purchase could be feasible specifically to China.
