Nope. Try to not sign a lease without seeing the place in person. You do not want to overpay for a studio if that is indeed what they are advertising under false title.

Email the advertiser and ask for a pic of the bedroom. If they cannot produce move on.

thanks alot of the price were in the ranges of 500 to 900 dollars on the south side and on north side the areas that were on the south side for the most part were in bad looking areas the apts were renovated but the surrounding area did not look good.

i google mapped and look at the neigborhood via street view.

thanks for you input

The bedrooms are probably so small they don't even want you to see them first.

It's more that bedrooms are bedrooms - four walls etc. I'm always concerned when they don't show pics of the kitchen!

I hate it when the "bedroom" is only like six feet wide and doesn't have room to walk around a double bed. There are way too many bedrooms like this in Chicago apartments, especially in the older sections of town.

Bedrooms in most parts parts of the country (including Chicago) that are urban (in older buildings) are around 10x10.

I dont think Chicago holds the title in the small bedroom category at all.

10x10 would be huge LOL!

One of my bedrooms is 9x11 - the other? Like 8x7

7x9 bedroom with no closet here. But the rest of my apartment is awesome, so I put up with it. What do you expect dealing with a building built in 1875 .
