Is that a precinct (am i using the right word?) by precinct law? Kind of like the liquor store ordinances? because I saw a Subway sandwich board at Belmont/Ashland today.

Default Clark/Adams

What about Clark and Adams? They are doing something on the 7-11 side but making no progress and I never see anyone working. Also they banned parking on the other side for 2 months. GRRRRR!

Yeah, it's a 44th ward law. That encompases this area as well as my friends establishment, so it still applies. Most people obviously ignore the law, but that place is just obnoxious with the boards.

That part of the area around Belmont and Ashland is not in the 44th ward;it is in the 32nd Ward.

Now I'm confused. I thought we were talking about the place with the dozen sandwich boards out near Clark and Diversey

oh I see now. I had only read the first half of your post asking if it was a precinct law, not the second half about the Subway.
