Clark Street Nuisance (Chicago: inspectors, live, office)

Ok...Does anyone here live around the Clark/Diversey, more specifically Clark and Surf streets intersection and has experience the Baladoche Belgian waffle NUISANCE?? Basically this Belgian waffle place makes is notorious for having it's employers SCREAM out the window at passerby to try their free samples. EVERY DAY almost ALL DAY and very loud. They accost everyone walking on the sidewalks and shout things such as "Hey, I would like to give you a flavor-gasm!!" or "Hey, I want to give you a yummy treat!" I live directly across the street from this place and am subject to hear them all the time. Someday I may lose it.

Complain to the alderman about the aggresive tactics. My friends opened a bar and realized a TON of laws written about what you can and can not do, there's got to be something about screaming and being loud.

Is this the place with the sandwich boards ALLLLLL over the sidewalk? Or maybe that's a different place, but it's horribly annoying and uncalled for. Those things are actually illegal on the sidewalks, so why you're at it you can report them for that as well.

Ok, I looked it up online and that IS the place with all those boards out front. I looked on yelp and all their reviews are person after person telling them to stop screaming at everyone.

I'm bored, so I put a word in with the alderman's office about the sandwich boards (which are illegal on sidewalks) and the constant harassment and screaming.

Dang, Chicago60614, nice work. Someone needs to stop them. They don't even offend me as much as they are annoying as hell. I can tell that the people they yell at are completely annoyed as well, judging by their snide comebacks.
