WIth the dan ryan expressway project is there anytime or any other way to get to that area by car? What is the best way? What are the best times and days to take it or should it just be totall avoided?

I've been there but its not good for telling me the best way to the north side. Just downtown. I would like advice from someone who actually drives it.

Uhm... you have to pass through downtown to get to the North side. So take that website at face value.

You're better off taking the South Shore to Randolph and getting on the Red line ...

You could take 41 to LSD to Belmont or Addison

I cant take PT. I am moving there. Also I dont have to go through downtonw. I can take the highway loop surrounding chicago right.

Sure, you can take the Tri-State if you want to add another 45 minutes to an hour to your trip.

I was going to mention the tri-state, but you'd be way out of bounds on getting to Wrigleyville. It can be done, but Drover is right. And don't forget, you'll be paying tolls too.
