Congratulations Sox.

Personally I don't have a favorite; would love to see both teams make it to the WS this year. But that would leave a quandry; who to root for? I've been to all 3 parks and each one provided an amazing experience. But I can't decide so I'll just go Chicago!

I wish I'd subscribed to the papers before this happened.

Go white sox!!! You can do it.

"Kill the Devil Rays"

they changed the name of their team from "devil rays" to "rays" for some inane reason... anyone know why? Was "devil rays" too long, couldn't they shorten it do d-rays, like the diamond backs do? Or was it the reference to satan thing that got the religious people all upset?

I thought devil rays was cooler... you know with that long stinger and all..

and the updated "rays" logo is just the most boring thing ever. I am assuming "rays" now refers to rays of sunshine.

GO SOX!

Hey, hows the shiny new Sux wardrobe? You know, the one you bought 3 years ago when you became a "fan"? The wardrobe you wore only for the WS, then hung up. Better dust it off again, amigo, they made it post season! woo hoo Time to become a "fan" again, like most of the other "fans".

God, you're annoying. You come in here with the "Sux" crap, and expect nobody to say a word to you. Also, I've been going to Sox games since I was 7 in 1975, and go to 3-4 a year no matter how good or bad they are. So, I've been a fan for 33 years. Good enough for you? Did people tell you what a "wonderful" experience a ballgame at Wrigley would be, and what a "party" it is, hence your Cub fandom, Steve-O?

Now, I remember why I can't stand Scrubs fans. They pretend they like baseball, but sit there like they're at church or the symphony, and then run across the street to the Cubby Bear for a party before they run back to suburbia. It seems like they're hardly aware there's a baseball game going on. Away from the game they pretend like they're the biggest baseball fans in the world, and how superior the Scrubs are even though their whole marketing strategy is based on being a bunch of losers. The Cubs wouldn't know what to do if they won a WS.

Even if the Sox were down like the Cubs were last night, Sox fans would be cheering like crazy hoping for a rally. Cub fans sat there like they were at a funeral. Which they probably were.

Enjoy the choke, Steve-O. It's already started.

Sorry to everyone else, but I definitely was responding to that. I'm tired of Steve-O pissing all over this thread. (Also, sorry to all the cool, and true Cubs fans out there, who do root for the team, and don't start petty crap. I didn't mean to paint all of you with the same brush.)

GOOOOO WHITE SOX!!!!!

First off, my name was brought up by a Sux fan first, and I defended myself. I suppose you missed that? If my name hadnt been brought up, I would have absolutely no reason to be in this lame thread to begin with. Trust me, last place I want to be is around Sux fans who somehow think theyre superior to Cubs fans. Anyways, go learn how to read and start on page 1, let me know where Ive "pissed all over this thread", genius.

Come on, not necessary. This is a White Sox thread, let's keep it that way.

The White Sox are huge underdogs in this series... I think they may surprise some people. Underestimating the Sox can be dangerous.
