You don't sound too familiar with the North Side. There are a lot of neighborhoods that "out-Lincoln Park" Lincoln Park these days, and the ol' LP is definitely not the only neighborhood in the city that you'd have to not worry about your baseball cap bill's orientation. I certainly don't ever think about it in Uptown (where I live), and Uptown has a reputation for being one of the North Side's roughest areas.

I've been called out before up around that area, but maybe it's because I'm Mexican and I fit the look of a so-called "thug". Usually a grown, caucasian male will not have much to worry about, if it looks obvious they're not affiliated with anything (ie the way they dress, etc.).
