I don't know what my FAFSA is covering, and I guess I won't know until I get an acceptance letter.
I do work part time, and don't plan on quitting that job. I just can't work so much AND go for 4 classes at once.
I don't have credit, and will be opening up my first card as soon as I am admitted as a student, so I can qualify for a student credit card. I will be opening one from CitiBank, and will also be taking a student loan from CitiBank.

I'm not trying to have my head in the clouds, and I really hope I am doing well with my research.
Other than saying most college major's are worthless I agree with your post.

Wow, in the past I have gone to school part-time and worked full-time. In fact, I am going to be doing so soon again.

I know people that have worked full-time as well as taken a full-time class load. I may be one of those people soon.

While I know everyone is different and not everyone can handle busting their ass for what they want to achieve in life;I think that the kids need to get off their asses. The younger generation needs to stop expecting everything to be handed to them and stop thinking they will be living in a perfect scenario their entire lives.

Being as I am the only one paying for my college, I definitely don't think everything is handed to me. In fact, very far from that.
I've been out of school for almost 2 years and have never been able to juggle classes and working long hours at the same time [when I was in high school that is].
My first year I cannot work as much as I do now and take full time classes. Maybe my second year, but we'll see. I will still have my job.
And I think that's a little harsh saying "the younger generation".

I believe this has gone well past where I had originally planned this thread to go.

I have a friend who goes to DePaul and we will both tell u DO NOT GO THERE! It is was wayyy too expensive for my friend, and he is so screwed. And it doesn't even come close to all the money you pay. Plus, everyone there, my friend and I have met was a douche bag. I'd reccomend Colombia if you don't have a place to live at, I go there and am happy, but if u have a place in Chicago, I'd reccomend Northeastern, or a community college to help get u started. But yeah, in case u were thinkin about DePaul, I can tell u it is a huge mistake. Good luck man.

How much of that 14.5 is grants and how much of it is loans?
