Oh, and I was also thinking about looking at an efficiency at 420 W Wrightwood (60614). However, I saw a few reviews from 2006 about drug dealers, people not feeling safe, etc. Wonder if that has changed..

420 W Wrightwood is in lincoln park and is one of the safest areas in the city. That is not to say that it is void of homeless ppl, drugs etc. I have seen the inside of the apartments and it is absolutely third world. They are super cheap tho.

420 W Wrightwood is in a very nice area. Can't tell you about the apartment.
I live close to Glenwood/Edgewater and like it a lot.

Were the reviews of a particular building? Because the 400 block of Wrightwood is a very prestigious address in a vibrant, safe area. It's definitely the most upscale area of any you've listed.

Always be sure to check other sites that do ratings as well.

I doubt the residents of the 400 block of Wrightwood would stand for letting a problem building be a problem building for too long. They're the type who would hound their aldermen and precinct captain until they finally do something about it just to shut them up.

How are they 'third world'? Any details would be much appreciated.
I wonder what their efficiencies have in respect to kitchen appliances. I called a few days ago but the front desk lady was pretty rude.
