, yea i've had pently of contact with organized crime groups, lol, your lookin at one! I don't gangbang no more by most of my freinds still bang, my friend got killed last year, im not gonna name the gang, and ppl dont hide the fact that they sell drugs,make fake money,kill rivals,rob places, post out defending their turf, gangbang, postituting h000es etc, nobody hides it, its not a secret socity between you and the your friends, its secret to the police.In junior high,some kids were already gangbangin,them in hs it got worse, even more gangbangers,fights,ppl gettin shot outside of school,sellin drugs,etc....its only a matter of time till u the freinds u chose ended being some gangbangin a** mutha***kas, no choice u born into, and u lose freinds because of the fact that you gangbang,wether they get locked up and end up being kilt, i saw my freind die as we took her to noregin american hospital last year, she didnt deserve to die,becuz of she was hangin out with her freinds and her murder is still unsolved,thats why ppl retaliate becuz police cant solve s***.What's f***d up is drivin around the corner where ur freind got kilt,that makes u feel like sh**, so i had enough and i quit! beside being paraniod and s*** ......imma stop talkin cuz im rightin a book, sh** long!

I know that this is an old thread and the OP was a troll, but different people I know, over the years, have mentioned to me that in Lincoln Park, behind the best Western on Diversey, there is a condo or townhome back there, run by the mob. The first floor has an "illegal" bar; the second floor has a small casino with a roulette wheel, and the third floor allegedly serves as a small brothel.

Different people I knew (none of whom know each other) have told me some interesting stories about this place.

How do you know that for sure? Have you heard of this place before? I have wondered if it was just a crazy rumor or something.

I specifically have three stories about this alleged place, the first story was pretty elaborate and the guy telling me the story was as co-worker I used to hang out with. He claimed that he actually had been in there.

The second time I heard the story was from a friend of mine who lived in Little Village on the South Side. I started telling him about it and he told me that he knows about this, that it has been there a long time, and it was located on Hampden.

Then, about a year later, another friend of mine, was telling me another elaborate story, about a girl he had recently dated, who was not only in Playboy magazine one time, but was working as an escort out of a "mob house" in LP on, yes, you guessed it, HAMPDEN AVE!!! I was totally shocked, because it seemed to validate the other two guys' stories. Remember, none of these three guys knew each other. But it would not surprise me if this was just some old story or rumor that was being told around town, as sort of a joke or something?

And by the way, yes I have walked around that area looking for something that could have been the place and was not sure I saw anything like that.

Back in Ohio where I grew up, there was a similar thing, but it wasnt a rumor, it was more of a prank you would pull on strangers, where you would go up to them and ask them how to get to "Too Lee Doo" (or sometimes pronounced as Tootlie Doo), and as it turns out, they were always looking on how to get to TOLEDO, which, if you look at the spelling, looks like it could be pronounced as Too-luh-doo. You were supposed to act like you were confused and didnt know it was Toh-Lee-Doh. I knew several people who would go up to old people or police officers, etc and do this. I guess people in Ohio must have been REALLY BORED, to be motivated enough to do this.

That one is on lehman, although I do remember seeing that building when I was gthere looking around, as I did look on both Hampden, as well as Lehman.
