hi, im a 25yo Aussie, single, professional moving to Chicago in the new year. I have only 12 months in Chicago and want to make it memorable. I need to be living within touching distance of the bars, nightclubs, restaurants and social venues where i can meet new girls and friends and have the best time possible. which suburb/area best fits this criteria in Chicago? downtown? if not, where???!!!

Maybe Lakeview, not too far north, maybe close to Belmont so you can easily go to Lincoln Park too. Or Bucktown/Wicker Park.
