My understanding is that this was only shown in the Chicago area, and that the film has been either lost or destroyed. Was one of my favorites, each Christmas, when I was a kid. Anyone else have fond memories?

I only remember "Dirty Dragon" from Bill Jackson's Gigglesnort Hotel - the best show ever! I also miss Ray Reyner during the holidays. Our family would always make his annual Christmas ornament in front of the TV. I still have some of those old homemade ornaments on my tree.

The radio show was called The Cinnamon Bear. The same series was played every year during the holiday season. Kids couldn't wait for it to start even though they had heard it the year before (those were more innocent times). The Crazy Quilt Dragon was one of the most popular characters on this show.
RadioLovers.com - Cinnamon Bear

Then when the newfangled TeeVees came along, The Crazy Quilt Dragon TV show was created, which Chicagoans faithfully watched on their Muntz Television Sets.

I LOVED Gigglesnort Hotel! That clay lump thing always blew my mind. That and Dr. Shrinker which was part of some other "power hour" Ah, the memories.

And bringing back to Chicago, loved Family Classics on Sunday afternoons.

Hi I live in Portland Or now but I remember my sister and I watching The Cinnamon Bear on TV. The sponsors were Milnot evaporated milk and Marshal Fields. The show was part human children part puppets. There was a woman announcer whose name I can't remember who introduced the show.

You can buy the radio broadcast on CD from Amazon.
