Ill give you some prosciutto.

Well, since I said I live near Damen & Webster, why would I need the Diversey bus? A little weak in reading comprehension, are you? Also, dragging groceries 2-4 blocks to the nearest bus is NOT public transportation friendly, IMO. Who the heck wants to do that? They need to reroute Damen onto Elston between Damen & Logan to hit the Stracks & Target since it goes over a bridge between Elston & Diversey.

This is actually a legit complaint. In nice weather it's fine, but I took the Damen bus this fall and it was a very chilly walk to the Visionworks in that same plaza as Strack's.

It's certainly accessible via public transit, but it's not ideal for grocery shopping trips. Including the parking lot, it's easily a half mile walk to the Damen bus. Now that all of that is covered in ice and snow, it's a real pita.

If they gave out pita, I might be more willing to make the walk! In the summer, like I said earlier, it's not too bad, but now with everything unshoveled on Elston Ave, and the cold temps, the walk sucks.

Well because A) YOU DID NOT STATE WHERE YOU LIVED when you first went on your little diaper soiling about the lack of transit. You only revealed it after I made my comment. Nice try.

I can drag my old lady cart in nicer weather, but with this never ending crud on the ground, it's too much of a pain in the ass. I've been going to Tony's near my job, but it's still pretty high priced, and a bit nasty.

As far as shopping my neighborhood, I would if I could. The selection is not here. Strack's is ok, but it doesn't compare to the ones in Indiana, and it's not public transportation friendly. There's a Dominick's in the Riverview Mall on Fullerton, forget them. There's the ghettolicious Jewel near Milwaukee & Ashland. There is an independent called Danny's on Western & Shakespeare, but it's overpriced, and FILTHY! There are also some chi-chi specialty shops near Damen & Milwaukee, way too high. I do sometimes go to Aldi's on Milwaukee & Leavitt, but Aldi's is always hit or miss.

I actually do more of my shopping near my job. I do go to Tony's on Belmont near Cicero, which I'm not crazy about, but they do have good meat. (Much better than Jewel, S&VT, or Dominick's). A coworker told me about a place called A&G Market on Belmont near Central, and she describes it much like you guys describe the international selection at HarvesTime, but I just don't want to go farther west after work. (Of course, I'd be going north to HarvesTime, so who knows.)

2) What in the world are you talking about? Strack & Van Til is like a 1.5 block walk to the Diversey or Western bus. It is also about a 2.5 block walk to the Fullerton bus.

2) Well, since I live near Damen & Webster, I don't need the Western, Diversey, or Fullerton buses. Plus it's more like 2 blocks to Diversey, and 2.5 to Western. It's about 4 to Damen, since Elston is on an angle and the store would be at about the equivalent of where Leavitt & Wrightwood would meet if they were over in that area. (Also, neither Damen nor Diversey are the fastest running buses.)

3) Have you made the walk? In summer it's not so bad, but it's not fun dragging an old lady cart filled with groceries over the unshoveled crud on the sidewalks of Elston Ave. Try it sometime.

AT WHAT POINT DID you mention what streets you lived near again? WAY AFTER THE FACT WHERE YOU STARTED CRYING LIKE A BABY ABOUT HOW YOU HAVE TO WALK A FEW BLOCKS. If you are so lazy that you can not walk a few blocks-buy a fricken' car. Better yet TAKE A CAB. The CAB FARE WOULD NOT BE THAT MUCH.

I walk four blocks to the grocery store and four blocks back in all kinds of weather and sidewalk conditions. Unless you have a physical problem or are disabled get off your lazy ass and stop whining.

Are you 12 years old? That's how your posts come off. You SERIOUSLY need help. I didn't realize I'm supposed to post where I live (Oh, and it's in there in the THIRD or FOURTH post of mine you quoted). Sorry, but I'm not your puppet that's going to say things to validate your constant need to be right. You pick on new people to make yourself feel like a big man, but when one of the old-timers challenges you, you fold like a house of cards. You argue just for argument's sake. Plus some of the comments you make to the women around here (like your proscuitto comment above) are just weird, and creepy.

How do my grocery shopping habits affect you? They don't! If you don't like my opinions, put me on ignore. No skin off my back. I won't miss you, and your socially maladjusted weirdness.
