The chemicals used in dry cleaning destroys your clothes, and should be done twice a year: once at the beginning of the season and once at the end. If it's a suit that you wear all year, maybe you could add one extra cleaning. Of course, if you are out at a bar and spill a drink on yourself or something, then you're going to have to make a special trip.

And when you think about it, you really shouldn't hesitate to shell out a decent amount for good dry cleaning. You can spend an extra $15-20 cleaning your suit, or you can save some money, have it ruined, and buy another $1000 suit.
I think you can purchase "dry cleaning bags" for personal home use. I've seen them at target but never used them. I have a friend that swear by them though and says they are very gentle on clothing.

The product name is "Dry-El" and is very affordable. I keep passing it in the store and think about getting it, but I'm just not sure I trust it. My clothes are expensive, and I can't really afford to buy new clothes right now, so I'm afraid to take the risk.

Wow, maybe I'll try Dry-EL on some thrift store pants and skirts to test it!

Dress as a teen? Yeah, I got some teen wear. But I got like 10+ Catholic SCHOOLGIRL Skirts and 3 blouses too! - I can look like a Yummy Schoolgirl too! Plus appropriate sissygirl panties and bras to match to schoolwear!

Ok... I'm too much! Gimmie some rep points to make me Infamous!

Those are among the most boring stores for men's clothes. Yet I have to admit that I shop at both. BR's had some sharp blazers lately, but they're priced higher than department stores

I'm a maraschino cherry sort of dresser. I'll wear a lot of black or grey or brown, but will throw in a really nice pair of shoes or specs. And a watch.

I've always found a lot of cheap dry cleaners in Chicago. Is a buck a shirt really too much? I sure as hell ain't doing that ironing.

Hmmm... I don't know about that. All of the gay cross dressers I know wear things like feather boas and crazy wigs. Or they go all fetish queen in PVC or rubber. Not exactly what I would call "tastefull", but my name isn't Liberace or Dita von Teese.
