It's great as there is so much to choose from. One key indicator is the number of major universities combined with 20 somethings relocating here due to the number of employers. So many young professionals that are single.

I'm a 22 year old single male moving here for work and was wondering the same thing. Being that it is such a big city I'd assume you can meet tons of different people from universities, work, etc.

Of course there isn't really a stereotypical Chicago guy, but there are a lot of guys who have recently moved to Chicago from Michigan or Wisconsin, and who are more "Chicagoan" than native Chicagoans now.
