Looking for input from Red/Purple/Brown Line commuters (or erstwhile such commuters who may have switched to a bus route) to see how bad the commute was this morning with the commencement of the three-track configuration between Belmont and Fullerton...

(So far, no apparent impact on the Blue Line...)

I'm curious myself. I rode my bicycle to work today because I wanted no party of that whole mess, but I know I can't ride it in every day. I am glad to hear though that the Blue Line wasn't affected. HOWEVER, CPS is on spring break right now, and there are quite a few high school students who ride my bus (#56), so I bet next week will be a bit more crowded.

My husband gets on the Red line at Argyle and works in the Loop, he said it was smoother than normal! Probably b/c people avoided the trains, but I'm sure that won't last for long.
