You really should not post here anymore.

Without the Brewers being inserted in the NL your crap team would have moved to Indy or something already. Miller Park sucks ass too btw. It feels like one is at a monster truck event that just happens to have a single A baseball team playing before the real attraction comes on.

Airline influx may spell fare war - JSOnline

While the sale of Oak Creek-based Midwest Airlines means the loss of a significant local headquarters, it is only the latest in a series of moves that industry watchers say could turn Mitchell into a regional alternative to Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports.

The expansion of choices at Mitchell means residents of Northern Illinois can take advantage of prices wrought by competition without having to travel through O'Hare, one of the busiest and most congested airports in the world.
O'Hare ranked dead last for on-time departures in 2007 (66%) and 2008 (68%) among the 32 largest U.S. airports, according to federal statistics. For January to April of this year, O'Hare ranked fourth-worst for on-time departures with 77%.

It's not Chicagoland, but it's a very valid inclusion. I knew businessmen 15 years ago who would drive from Lake Forest or Gurnee (which is Chicagoland) to Mitchell because the overall time required and hassle factor were lower than O'Hare.

I vote O'Hare because it's only 20 minute drive and I know the in's & out's of dealing with it.
I really like the remodeled Midway, but its an hour away and, unless they fixed it, the security lines were awful.
And Kudos to Midway since Southwest keeps United and American honest with some of their prices!

Update*, As of late Midway always used to be cheaper for me to fly out of now it's ORD. I used to not mind taking a airport flyer out of Milwaukee to O'hare to save just a $100 but now I like the $5.00 parking and being able from car to airplane seat be there in 15 min process.(TSA Pre-pass). I do love the madness of O'hare.

OHare because it's close to my present home. Direct train service some times, train to CTA other times. And within bike riding distance (40 km), ive done it. However, I've used Midway because of Southwest. Never tried Mitchell, but open to it under the right circumstances. But only a few train a day go there.

If you actually want to get somewhere interesting and quickly, O'Hare is the only choice.

That's not true. Midway holds its own pretty well for its size. Sure it doesn't stack up quite like O'Hare, but it has some interesting destinations. Quickly? I disagree. Midway is much quicker getting in and out of, by far. With that being said I like both airports and depends what I am in the mood for.

When it's a big trip, for example a vacation that is more than 3 days long or an international trip, I love flying out of O'Hare cause it makes it feel that much more like an experience. It's like it amplifies the experience with all the buzz, people from all over the world at the airport and just a whole different vibe.

Now when it comes to traveling for business? Midway all the way. I have to fly to Detroit a lot for work and having to go through all the hassle of O'Hare for what will be a 24-48 hour trip and a flight that is super short is just annoying. I much rather fly out of Midway for business trips than O'Hare.
