Wow, what a turn this thread has taken. And I was just a lone, born in Mexico Spaniard, who was explaining why races still "live among their own kind" and defending the attitude of those "misunderstood impressions" and why each of the cultures places those stereotypes
on themselves . Remember, I don't live among my own kind, culturally speaking. I live among my own kind- economically speaking, and I have NEVER faced any prejudice, in any way, shape, or form. Again, perhaps some cultures/races are better able to "blend in" than others, but come on, what is wrong with you guys. Any race/culture knows what it takes to live in various areas. As one poster put it several pages back- socioeconomic factors drive most of it, regardless of race. And I would also guess that yes, you'd have quite a difficult time opening up a Muslim temple in Wheaton, IL, but why would anyone want to try? Give me a break, folks, move on. Try to live harmoniously among all who live around you, period!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your ruse of "claiming" that you are really not "Mexican" but a European born in Mexico is not going to fly with posters like Giobag. That claim has been tried hundreds of time before, you are not the first. Seems like a quarter of all suburban Mexicans I've met claim to be 100% European descent.
