Not to me.
Actually, I believe the Feds need to pick up the tab for this one.
As for the Secret Service protections for individuals, I think that is warranted and should also be the responsibility of the Federal government.

At times the secret service even had to rush a boyfriend to the hospital for a stomach pumping when they'd go out and get far too drunk!

Yeah, but the little bimbos were making it up to the Secret Service guys by treating them to sandwich jobs.

Just wait until one of Obama's daughters gets pregnant by LeBron James in a few years.

Don't blame me-blame David Letterman!

The best example of a house problem was when Nixon bought the house in San Clemente. The Secret Service paid about 25% of the house value for security upgrades to protect him. Then, when he sold the house, Nixon was able to keep the money!

That won't be the case with the current president. And who does not think that the city has not benefitted at least as much as the added cost? The tourists are at that house every day snapping pictures. Its on the route for the tour buses, too.

They was using Obama house as another toursit destination when he got elected. It feel like it was not that long ago, but it was back in November. Time goes by fast. The city can make some money from one property alone.

And for his house being 2 miles from bad neighborhood don't mean nothing. In Chicago two miles it feel like a different city. West Loop is just a hoop jump skip away from Garfield Park.

That is a truly hateful post, quite unlike your usually helpful remarks. Let's just say you were led into it by the preceding hateful post.

It was a joke and no I will not apologize. If anyone cannot see I was joking as well as the meaning behind what I said I don't know what else to say.

Poor taste perhaps, but hateful? Not at all. That goes for IrishTom's post also.

Blame David Letterman.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I don't agree that the need to slime young girls and women is a Chicago attribute. I'm done.
