Does anyone make this drive on the Kennedy? Considering moving to Elk Grove Village but wondering how much time it would add to my commute--- Need to have the kids to school in Lake View by 8:15 each day and then go back to pick them up again at 3:30.

I don't know what your drive is like now so its hard to make a comparison. To make the new run why don't you just drive east on Higgins to Cumberland and then south to Irving Park? Or, even better, just drive east on Irving Park from Elk Grove. Sure, there are some lights but it will be the same traffic every day, unlike the northwest expressway. Thus you'll be able to figure out how much time it will take. Being at the school at 8:14 and 3:30 won't leave you much of a workday.

Like I said other thread you started on this very topic... your commute is going to suck. Trust me. Plan on spending a MINIMUM of three hours a day in your car; probably closer to four.
