Default Brazilians in Chicago

My wife is Brazilian. We live in the Atlanta area now but my wife keeps saying how much she'd love to live in/around Chicago. I think I'd like it, too. My dad's from Chicago and I have some family living there. (More of my family live in Belleville, IL.) So I was wondering if there are a lot of Brazilians in/around Chicago. There is a big Brazilian community around Atlanta. I've heard New Jersey has a big Brazilian population, as well as Miami. So how about Chicago?

Thanks in advance for reading and responding to my post!

I'd suggest you check out cultural events/groups that might be attractive to Brazilians:

Chicago Samba

Quilombo Cultural Center

Old Town School offers a lot of relevant music & dance classes as well, no idea if they actually attract Brazilians, but at least you'd get a chance to talk with the instructors, who tend to be very, very good & connected to the cultures & traditions 24/7.

Brazil in Chicago is another organization - still more of a language school, but they're expanding into more cultural events as well.

This is a links page from Escola de Samba, a samba school in Evanston (a town just north of Chicago). Hope it helps!
