The entire article is based on one source:

And Stan Sorscher, who spent 20 years at Boeing before taking a post at the Society of Professional Engineers in Aerospace (SPEEA) in 2000, told me that engineers he spoke with believe that McNerney is hooked on the idea of shifting more of Boeing's aircraft development to China.
So a guy who left Boeing 9 years ago thinks they want to shift "more of Boeing's aircraft development". What does that have to do with moving the headquarters? What does moving "more" of something mean? How the hell does he make a jump from that to "shifting its headquarters from Chicago to Beijing is up in the air"?

This is a really poorly researched and written article. At best it is irresponsible and alarmist reporting, most likely it is the rantings of a syphilitic glue sniffer (possibly on the payroll of Airbus).

I work at an aerospace company and Boeing is one of our customers. If Boeing is going to outsource its jobs to China, then I doubt they are worthwhile jobs in the first place. Most of the well paying jobs at Boeing tend to be jobs that cannot be outsourced because of government ITAR rules.

That's awesome. I want to try one.

Random source quoted for BS news article: Vienna Beef to begin using Hungarian Paprika on their their turkey pastrami.

Random BS news article, based upon that source: "Hungarian Paprika is not manufactured in Chicago. It is unclear, at this time, whether Vienna Beef will begin sourcing more products from outside of Chicago, or move to another location, altogether."

ChiMack's thoughts: "Hungarian!? That isn't from Chicago! It's from... HUNGARIA! Better post!"

Chimack's post: "Chicago Might Be Losing Vienna Beef"
