I was told this area is considered Old Irving Park. Is this true?

Also, whatever the area is called, is it a hotbed of gang activity?

TIA

This should hold the answer you seek. After clicking on the link move to the bottom and "Enter". It is a really good website that outlines gang territories everywhere in Chicago:

Thanks for the map. It made me laugh.

Based on where I grew up and spent most of my life, I can live anywhere. I'm from "Murda Town"!!! THROW IT UP!!!

Well in brief:

North of Addison (between Pulaski and Cicero) is Old Irving Park.
South of Addison (between Milwaukee and Cicero) is Kilbourn Park.
South of Addison (between Milwaukee and Pulaski) is South Old Irving Park.

Of course there's gang activity like anywhere, but it's fine.

Mostly dudes making money in small numbers. Rarely conflict.
