Has anyone seen those ads on the sides of CTA buses for a new movie? The one that I saw simply said, “Deaf girls can’t hear you coming” -- without ever mentioning anything about a movie. It actually startled me, making it sound like someone had come out with a handbook for predators. Today’s Trib says the CTA is pulling the ads after many complaints. What do you think?

I haven't seen a video version of this on the buses. The ones that I've seen simply say in large letters, "Deaf girls can't hear you coming." It's for a new movie called "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell." And no, I'm not making that up.

I saw those ads, and at the bottom of them, they had the url for the movie's website and I think a release date. heard that the ads are now being pulled for being offensive. boo-hoo-hoo. , IMO, the book was somewhat interesting (though really repetitive), but I have no desire to see the movie. I've always wondered how locals here feel about him since he was a student at UofC
