oh, sweetie, you need to get up to speed. transient hipsters are currently entrenched in Logan Square and are quickly invading Pilsen. Wicker Park's to pretty for hipsters to live in now, but they probably still go to the bars.

I know of decent 600-800 square foot 1 bedrooms in Lake View,Lincoln Square, etc. for under $800.

For a married couple, I'm assuming they want 2br. It is very difficult to find a nice 2br in those areas for 1200. I suppose it depends on what your definition of nice is, but the 2brs I would consider renting in Lakeview start around 1700 likely go up as you move South toward Gold Coast. A nice 1br for under 1200--absolutely, but as I said in my post, that is the sacrifice and I would rather have the space.

I had two friends recently move to Edison Park and it is super cute--they are 1 block from the train and there are super cute shops and eateries nearby--also close to O'hare

So I take it you missed the part where he said he also needs to be within reasonable commute distance from Midway? You literally can't get any further away from Midway than Edison Park while still living within the city limits.

The OP said "O'Hare/Midway." The slash could mean or.
