Hello everyone! My son just moved to a new apt. in Lakeview near Racine & Diversey. Until now, he has lived east of Broadway, so parking when we visit him has not been an issue. We just parked wherever we found a space. The area of his new apt. however requires permit parking. What will we need to do or can we do when we visit for just a few days at a time. Is there some kind of visitor parking permit he can acquire for us that we can use just during the days we visit? If so, where would he get this and how much would it cost. Thanks so much to all of you for your help. By the way, we LOVE Chicago.

Yes.

Instructions on getting the permits are on the city's website.

Thank you Avengerfire. Your thread was very helpful. I had done a search on this forum before posting my question but must have missed this thread.

The searches are coming up strangely lately I have noticed. Often the relevant threads are coming up in the latter pages. I am not sure what is going on.
