In Cook County, prosecuting them:

Lidar speeding tickets allowed by Cook County court - chicagotribune.com

This would go for DuPage also, since the appellate court opinion in question came from a DuPage case. But in the city, the law department is still waiting on the outcome of a Frye hearing next month.

Folks, I live in Chicago and received a speeding ticket in Red Oak, Texas last week for speeding on the Interstate (by a city cop -wtf?-) I am thinking about contesting the ticket based on a Texas cases Kelly v. State, 824 S.W.2d 568, 573 (Tex. Crim. App. 1992 and Hernandez v. State, 116 S.W.3d 26, 30 (Tex. Crim. App. 2003) (per curiam). Any new about recent LIDAR rulings in Texas or in a fed court?
