Hey, I'm from Miami and have been in Michigan for quite a few months now and I'm really missing my Colombian food. I'm looking for a cheaper restaurant with some good service, preferabally a place that really doesnt speak much english.. (i dont know what chicago is like, but in miami nobody speaks english).

Honey are you sure that you've posted this in the right forum? If you're in Michigan, I don't think many of us can help you.

For Chicago's part, Pollo Volador is my recommendation. Anyone who mentions Las Tablas gets shot. It's in Albany Park, which I don't really remember as being too terribly dangerous when I was last there. I mean take a cab and be on the lookout, but other than the random heat-packing Korean grocer you should be fine.

As soon as I find my leather biker gear, you're out, Tom.

It's not fair to get an old man worked up with such a vision.

Not much of a restuarant, but there is one in Lincoln Park around 2500 N Clark.

I believe there's also one at Irving and Elston now. I've driven by these a few times and always think, 'I'd like to try that' - but I never have.
