My younger brothers wired some plywood to the fence around the tennis courts in Columbus Park and played fast pitching there.

I am a 37 year old mom who has skated on my local schools tennis court for three years now. I also rollerblade on the road 13 miles a day weather permitting. I have skated during the day when school is in session. NO one has ever told me to get off. There are no signs saying I cant rollerskate OR rollerblade. I simple skate forwards and backwards. I was informed by the tennis couch that I cant skate on account of scratching off the paint. Rubber wheels and leather boot? Really? When I see them throw their metal tennis rackets? Can I buck the system on this? There courts are concrete and have cracks in them, so they aren't exactly new.

dear GOD please do not rollerblade in the street - rollerblades are not vehicles and do not have brakes, you do not belong in the street.

my wife's parents were tennis coaches, I can see them grimacing even at the idea of rollerskating on a (edit) serious tennis court- find somewhere paved. please.
