If the lawyer said they can't do anything about the fees then they can't do anything about the fees. To me that means you pay up. Apparently to you and your lawyer that means committing fraud which is why the advice was given to fire your lawyer.

Hey, come on, it was just a bit of lawyerly advice in jest, I'm sure.

Anyways, why not commit fraud when the city's screwing you over, anyway? They should keep that "go before a judge and get half off" thingie. They would be more likely to get money rather than making REALLY hefty fines and risk people just leaving the country for Mexico or something. Loser justice system, LOL.

Hmmm. Since you resurrected this old thread, it makes me wonder if this jag paid his tickets or not.

This is an interesting thread, because it's the only time I've ever been on the side of the city. I hope ol' speedy there with his pi$$y entitled attitude paid every dime.

How the hell does someone get a speeding ticket in Chicago anyhow? I feel like I'm in freakin' 'Days of Thunder' if I have the rare opportunity to get up to 30 mph.

Actually do me a favor, don't pay the tickets and stay off the road you idiot. Or at least learn to drive.

If he lives in Chicago, I'm surprised the city didn't boot his car!
