5 Guys just got shot over here tonight on 53rd and Halstead. I was just on the halstead bus coming home from work, must have just missed it by a couple of minutes. Crazy place, I can't wait to get out of here.

That's pretty absurd to say you want to get out of Englewood just because stuff like this happens on a frequent basis. Are you involved with gangs or drugs yourself? If not, you are magically impervious to flying bullets.
Well, that does seem to be the prevailing opinion on these boards. There are no dangerous neighborhoods and only people involved in criminal actiivity are victims.
