I want Him to come back and give us garden of eden weather all yr long..a warm 70 degrees, nice balmy days...no rain
Me too. I have memories of Springtime growing up in the Atlanta suburbs when everything was in bloom, the wisteria hanging over the porch awning at my childhood home, tulips popping out like crayons in a box, trees of pink apple blossoms, weeping cherry blossoms, azaleas covering the rolling hills, forsythia stretched toward the sun and bumble bees flying from flower to flower - the air temperature and humidity at a seeming level of perfection. I was just a young girl - it was in the mid 70's. Spring never seems quite like that anymore. But when I remember it - it lulls me into a beautiful place that now seems intangible except for the fact that I can see/feel/smell it in my memories. It is interesting to do a search in the scriptures of what we are told to remember and what we are advised to forget.
ooh that sounds heavenly.heartsong closest I can get I guess is driving to the beach thru cities like that..huge trees overhanging the rd,big old houses with wisteria covering the porch...awesome that was always my fav part of the drive.
Well....it's kinda cool up here in south-central Alaska: -5 and clear tonight. Stars are bright, and the moonlight casts a pale glow on the snow. I like it.
And, I think God is reigning up there...like always.
PS: I like this post...neat change of pace from the usual on this forum...
It's a light, consistant rain here this morning...I don't see any break in the clouds anywhere...looks like a full day of rain...the red and brown and yellow leaves laying on the ground are darker now because of the rain...pretty...the moss on the huge oak trees hangs low and heavy, wet with rain...my little doggie wants to go out...but then again, she doesn't want to go out...she can't make up her mind.........ah!...thunder's rolling...I love thunder...thank you Lord for my warm, dry home...and my thick, soft slippers.........and coffee..........good morning Bud and SCI......
Its -24 here this morning. Bring on the global warming...
