Made the trip to the Costa Blanca the last 3 February's to spend time with family, flying into a different city each time and then driving to the Costa Blanca . Madrid, Valencia and Alicante beautiful cities. Flying into Barcelona next Feb. Hoping to retire there in the future.

That's wonderful. I've thought about retiring to France. I'm already retired, just thinking about leaving the country to finish my days, I should say. Peace

English friends of mine also have a place in Spain. Seems a popular get-away/retirement place for Brits.

Yes, the Brits love it, the Dutch, Germans and Norwegians are there in large numbers too, so I'm guessing they do too. There's just something special about being on the Mediterranean .

As a hitch-hiking hippie in the long-ago, I spent several weeks living on a beach in the Aegean. There's definitely magic in that air.
