And I would love to visit Stonehenge and just sit there and absorb the vibes. I loved the song you posted (Venus)!
I went to Stonehenge way back in 1971 when I was 19. There was no security or payment required that I recall. Just a few folks meandering around the stones.

How about now pcamps? I would imagine there is at least some security.

I saw a few documentaries over Stonehenge, but it's been awhile. Time for me to brush up on my Stonehenge archeology. I would love to see what they were doing back then. There are a few sites in the Americas that are also aligned with the solstices. I love learning about different cultures and their beliefs.

Completely different now Trout. £16 and change for a ticket, which includes the cost of the bus to take you up to it( about a mile). Huge gift shop and exhibition center. It's pretty well cordoned off, so you are 30 odd feet away from it, I think the Druids could be blamed for that, I vaguely remember them camping out there in big numbers in the 90's. No real security as such though. Pretty awesome to see though and the distance they moved the stones from if true is pretty amazing
