June, I, for one, am not usually online suring holy days and shabbats. I am usually either at the shul or studying on those days.

Still feeling pretty good?

Sis Kat, I hope you'll do a dance on the dock for me! It was humid here today. But not as hot as it was for herefornow! Good night! How can you take those temps?

Dewdrop! That's a lot to deal with. I'm praying it all works out well.

Hey there, Velcro! June more than understands (and applauds you!) for honoring your holy days, even being the little heathen that she is!....

Meanwhile, until she gets another box of Nicotine patches, she's still smokin' up a storm, and feeling guilty as hell over it. Hoping to get to the pharmacy this week, as June realizes she is just procrastinating putting off the obvious. All she knows is even she "thanks God" that that Chantix stuff is now fully out of her system! What a horrible couple of days that was...

Anyway, hoping everyone had a good weekend, and that updates will be forthcoming, soon~!

Take gentle Sunday night care, all!

Hello everyone...
June...my weekend wasn't all rosy either...I pray that you're managing better today. I've always been partial to those...they usually have bad side-effects. Have you tried using the step by step pipes? or are they still available in pharmacies/supermarkets? I've used it way back in 1979-1980.

Take gentle care as well June...

Our little Cookie had her surgery yesterday and came through with flying colors! The only thing is that they gave her this pain medicine that they said would make her more vocal. Well, Cookie is usually completely silent - barking and whining only once in a blue moon. They told me that she would be fine but she just might whine more than usual. I heard this. I understood. However - I was still not prepared to hear my little angle whine and cry like she was upset! I was up almost all night with her trying to figure out what she needed! I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the living room because she didn't want to stay in the bedroom and she quieted down when I was in the same room. So - I'm TIRED!!!
But she's fine! Just a little whiney!
Next surgery is the hubby's on Friday! I'll be so glad when this week is over!

Perhaps it was a combination of the after effects of the anethstesia plus the pain meds that had her up all night, and whining???

Take gentle Shih Tzu care!!!

Wow, Dewdrop, sounds like one thing after another with little pause in between. First the dog, now your husband (tomorrow?). I'll be thinking about all of you Friday. I hope your husband has a speedy recovery and will be ready to do a few cartwheels in no time at all.
