Hi all,
I just had a thought!

What happens if a person goes to heaven, and then sins??

Will he/she be sent to hell for a day?

Will man even have free will in heaven? (I assume that free will means the option of choosing good and bad.)
Or will we be robots?

Isn't free will sacred and necessary for us to love and serve God?

Blessings,
brian

You will have your allowance withdrawn, and be put on restriction for an eon. Ok...I don't know!

My guess is that heaven will be so absolutely wonderful that any and all desire to sin will just not be there...

No one will sin in heaven - all residents will have been made incorruptible (AKA incapable of sinning).

And they won't have free will, just like we don't now...

What is "free will"?

I'm married with kids... my free will is an illusion even if I do have it!

There is no sin in Heaven because there is great honor in the presence of the Lord God were there is no demons to manipulate people there like on the earth, and people are made uncorruptable which is a great thing to happen,,, In Heaven there is no shadow because the Lord presence fill all areas .......But if any children of God do rebel then the hell is the place were they will go, but that is very unlikly because sin will be foreign like more foreign than Adam had in the garden of Eden......

You know I've always thought that Adam and Eve were sinners BEFORE they tasted the forbidden fruit. They were disobedient weren't they? Isn't that sinful?

Free will? Well, a dog on a leash has free will about which fire hydrant he's going to sniff. A prisoner in a cell has free will whether he's going to take a nap or exercise. We all have free will. But not the kind of free will that will keep us out of heaven, God is greater than that.

As far as sinning in heaven, I knew a christian that brought that up all of the time. Personally, I don't think it's possible.

Nobody could sin. God made this promise to the church at Philadelphia of being made a pillar in His Presence and will go out no more: as I am taking that to mean we will never be seperated from God because of sin ever again for we will all know what is ouside the will of God: nothing good: and that eternal torment judgment will always serve as a reminder of that terrible fact.

If what you said could be true, that would mean that even if death and hades was cast into the lake of fire, then death and hades will be coming back out again to be utilized for the furture punishment of those that would sin in heaven.

That is not going to happen...ever.

Jesus's victory is assured as death and hades, Satan and his angels, those with the mark of the beast, and unbelieving sinners shall have their part in the lake of fire. That eternal judgment means eternal assurance.
