New Heaven and Earth (paradise, Eden, Gospel, testimony)

[SIZE=4]When you read this next scriptures from Joel 2, think of volcanoes and hot lava. Remember, don't take the scriptures literally so where it says people, it's not people. It's hot lava. Words like horses, chariots, warriors are being used for the same lava flow.[/SIZE][SIZE=6] [/SIZE]

[/SIZE][SIZE=4]1:[/SIZE][SIZE=4] Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for [/SIZE][SIZE=4]the day of the LORD is coming,[/SIZE][SIZE=4] it is near,

The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.[/SIZE][SIZE=4] (The airlines have avoided the volcano in Iceland by shutting down all their flights over Iceland because of the after effects. It won't be long before all airlines will be shut down.

Do you think literal stars will fall from the sky? In your other thread (it's gone now?) you seemed to indicate a literal lake of fire (lava) and a literal shaking and such.

It is the false prophet that instills fear into the hearts of God's children.

The world is still new. It will be billions of years before it is gone. We'll all be in the spirit world and when the world does end, there is already a plan in place to get us all off this rock. Planets come and go and just like others, this one will go as well.

Shouldn't we be teaching the Good News instead of putting fear into each others hearts. Isn't that what Jesus is all about, the Good news of immortality? His Kingdom is in the spirit world and it's called The Celestial Kingdom.

Jesus once said "Love commands the universe. Man only resorts to control when love is missing". So, maybe we should be teaching about the Love of God and each other instead of something that will probably never happen.
