We're insulting great people that been forgiving people and giving generous money all their life. We're insulting great people that already believe in a man name Jesus on the cross before a tract was passed out and a sermon was on television. That already been great parents and spouses as well as employees and super citizens in the community. That put the dope and beer bottle down before you mention Jesus loves them. That have a great vocabulary enough when they angry. That never stole out the cookie jar and told a dirty joke. That never fooled around or got jealous over what somebody wearing or driving in the street. That told the truth in court before you witnessed to them. That got the fame and fortune that money can buy before you mentioned prosperity in tithing and offerings. That got what they feel is great wisdom already in their own conceit.
Nothing is missing to them unless verses like this is preached:

Folks confused with this your not good enough to be saved by repenting gospel but your accepting Christ by showing repentance---Romans 6:1.
Especially once John 8:31 and Matthew 4:4 is read.
Especially once John 5:39 and 2 Timothy 3:16 is read.
Especially once Matthew 5:17-20 and Romans 10:2-3 is read.
Without John 1:17 and 2 Timothy 2:15 this modern theology as a beginner is double talk to the newcomer.
People don't sell their car without knowing about the engine and the miles on it enough, etc.
Endorsing Christianity is also endorsing the local church theology we say we are a part of today.
Chrysler not knowing why their cars is the best in the world is an awful salesmen.
The endorser to the newcomer should be more professionally educated then the newcomer or why should he endorse something they don't know enough about besides believing in a cross like any random person out of no where-----Romans 6:1.
The newcomer figure he got it together enough with grace and a few minor changes in their life.
That's far from the real gospel enough---Matthew 5:39 and John 8:31.
