I struggle everyday to practice what I purport to believe and share...not to judge others lest I be meted out by the measure I set...

According to Matthew's Gospel, Jesus was born during the reign of King Herod the Great who died in 4 BC.

According to Luke's Gospel, Jesus was born during the census conducted by the Roman governor of Syria, Quirinius, when Judea came under his control. This was in 6 AD.

Thus there is a 10 year difference in Jesus' birth dates.

Does this prove that Jesus was the first "born again" Christian?

Paul does not contradict JESUS.JESUS fullfilled the law when HE died on the cross. The law required a sin sacrifice and JESUS ended the need for that when HE died for our sins. Now as to how Christians are to live, there is moral laws that came from the old testament that are still in force.Murder is still wrong.JESUS took it a step further and said if you hate your brother without cause it is a sin,I could go on.The old testament law WAS full filled!GOD also said "I will make a NEW COVENANT WITH YOU NOT the SAME covenant I made with your fathers when I brought them out of Egypt.Well if it is new and NOT the SAME as the old covenant then there MUST be some differences!
The difference is this: No longer do we live under a theocratical government, where we must take a sin sacrifice and offering to the high priest to atone for our sins, JESUS took care of that already.
Last, There IS a GOD whether the ignorant atheists like it or not and ALL mankind WILL be judged by HIM one day like it or not, to ignore the FACT GOD exist is proof of a delusional mind.
