Yet if we say we never sin, John calls us what? Liars!

1Jn 1:8: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10: If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Now consider if God can cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness, then can you say you have no sin? (of course)

So surely we have ALL had sin. And at a point in time then we are/shall be cleaned from all unrighteousness (sin).

But once we are cleaned then we cannot say that we had not sinned (for before we were sinners).

So that which is righteous doesn't no longer perform that which is unrighteous (for its the performance of unrighteousness that is sin). Which leaves it to be that if we are righteous then we NO LONGER perform that which is sin.

Exactly. And in 1 John 1:8 the words 'we have' - echomen - are in the Present Active Indicative, which means no one can legitimately claim that the passage refers to having sinned in the past but that believers no longer sin. Everyone, believer or unbeliever will continue to commit sins till he departs from this life.

When your no longer willfully and knowingly are practicing sin.

Essentially do unto others as you want done unto you (always), even to those that despise you and persecute you. That is what an actual Follower of Christ does.

When we are Baptised in Water to prove to Jesus that we want to love him and are willing to stop sinning , but sin could still have a foot place in our lives..... Then when we are baptised by fire of the Holy Spirit and he comes and Jesus Spirit lives in our bodies as the Temple of the Holy Spirit and give us Power of HIS Blood to rip sin out better, but sin is still there still bothering us in our lives through the demons and evil spirits will haunt us until we live our days on this earth and go on to be with the Lord in Heaven. It is Heaven that is not corrupted by sin and demons that we will be free ..... But as we live our lives on this sinfull earth trying and constantly repenting and resistlng sin and demons who will bring sin to our lives Jesus will constantly remove sin and demons and curses from our lives through prayers of his Blood...... Lord Jesus is constantly cleaning us and rejecting sin off our lives and forgetting the sin from our past and blessing our lives with eternal forgiveness in our struggle.... So keep the good fight against sin to keep Lord Jesus interest in our Good works, or the devil fight us harder if we stop resisting and could lose our good works that will bring more rewards in Heaven............The good works that we do on the earth will be simular to the works that we will be doing in Heaven
