ORLANDO -- Most amusement parks offer guests rides, shows and loveable characters. But one Florida park also provides daily communion.

It doesn't sound very inspirational...it sounds like it's all about the almighty $.Just like Disney and the gay parade and gay days..they just use whatever they can to pull in whatever they think the tourists of the day will pay for.(JMO).
and uh..Jesus carried the cross,no one else...wth is that all about in the video??! the acting is poor and appears to be portrayed inaccurately at times.(not to be a spoilsport if you like it though). The visitors detract from the main scene and should be kept back some...I doubt Jesus had tourists in shorts watching Him carry the cross.

all JMO.

This is nothing short of disgusting. Not a great fan of Disney or pop culture in general but there already are big commerscial ammusement parks - and what on earth does Jesus Christ have to do with big flashy ammusement parks that are all about money?

Moderator cut: off topicWhat is this country coming to?

Since I live in Orlando, let me say that the Holy Land Experience Theme Park is actually VERY interesting and informative. To see replicas of the temple and other locations is a great way to spend a day. They also have music and teaching. My whole family really enjoyed it.

BTW: This place has been around for almost a decade. It isn't anything new.

I wonder how much they spent building it, and how many children in third world countries could have been fed, clothed, and given clean water if that money were used for something constructive instead of something as crass as a theme park?

Christians...you're doing it wrong!

Yes, as they led Jesus away to be killed on a cross. The soldiers were going out of the city with Jesus. The soldiers forced another man there to carry the cross for Jesus. This man's name was Simon from Cyrene

Luke 23:25
When they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus.

Blessings...
