I think if you read the bible and then look at many religious leaders today you will not follow because they do not follow the bibles lessons. As far as political leaders and TV/radio personalities ;he could careless about that.
Revelations mentions "the Great Prostitute" that will deceive many. Who/ What do you believe that this is referring to?

before the beast attacks...? wont the rapture happen before the beast attacks?
You are alluding to the Harlot of Babylon,which is referred to as the Antichrist will deceive those by drawing them into their own pleasure or hedonistic desires of the world for a short time and then they will will be crushed.One has to to be on the vigil and having their eyes fixed on the Lord for when the "Great Rapture" comes.
The woman on the horse represents the church,the impure woman,the Fallen Babylon who will lure individuals who are fixed on wordly things ,the things of the world which they are drawn to for a short period of time and then they will be crushed

In a stroke of perfect justice, he will use her political paramours as his instrument of execution.

I kinda agree with you here. But where should we go? Won't this be worldwide? Most of Europe is post-Christian and the East is closed to Christianity for the most part. From my understanding the U.S. is really the last place that people are able to openly worship God without fear.
