I didn't disappear. Just got tired of certain people (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, EVILDOAH!!) telling me to shut up and schooling me on Ol' Timey Religion. Like what I just escaped from after a lifetime.

I remember earlier in the year with the extreme weather patterns thread that alot of people were saying everything is normal. Ha!! You were proved wrong AGAIN!! This year was nothing short of abnormal!! Just evidence of Jesus' return ever closer!!
What was proven in that thread is that drastic changes have always been taking place on planet earth.

Question: Is there a small cult-like group that is affiliated here on this board whose mission is to keep posting the "sky is falling" - "the end is nigh" type of paranoid messages? I notice it is the same few members that post these on a regular basis. It always makes me think of a cult-like group the way it is done with all the talk of needing to hurry up and be afraid.... etc....

This thread kinda makes me wish this rapture stuff had some truth to it. It would be such a nice, less paranoid world if all the rapture believers would suddenly just disappear...There are a few of you that won't be missed.

I must point out that the thread title itself is false. If there was NO more time then the hour wouldn't be almost up - it would be up.

Doesn't,

I think you have confused a lot of scripture. There is a difference between his coming and his revelation. His coming will be like a thief , largely unnoticed. His revelation will come with worse disasters than we are seeing now. What we are seeing now shows us that he has come. What we will see later will reveal him to humanity. Rapture is not scriptural so if I were you I would try to love my fellow man so as to be saved by his grace. Nobody will fly up in the air, and don't expect anyone to drop from the sky either. This kind of teaching had been around since his first advent and that led to the scribes and the Jews not to believe him. Do you want to allow history to repeat itself? Jews believed that the Messiah will drop from the sky and will have no parentage. Jesus was not believed and is still not believed for this same reason. Now 2000yearslater, Christians are towing this same line. You've got to be kidding me.

Christ is the same yesterday and tomorrow, so as he was born yesterday, he has been born in this era already. We are now in the new era. He had given us a time for his coming. This generation shall not pass away before he comes back. A spiritual generation is 2000 years, so Christ would have been here with us doing his new role as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He does not lie, but man chooses to believe what he wants because of a lack of the Holy Spirit. Don't expect him to answer the former names if to do the former things he used to do.

The man told you that as in the days of Noah, so it will be in the day he is revealed. I am sure you know that Noah was saved from destruction but not raptured. He entered the ark, with his people. There is now the same spiritual ark, which any man Christians, Moslem etc can get in by practicing love and by baptism . Try your best to get in and relax, let Him do his will!

What I mean by feel it is that the rapture will probably be first felt as a worldwide earthquake. Because as soon as the trumpets ring, the dead will rise first out of the ground. Meaning, your going to have millions of bodies of generations of Christians from Earth past rising up through the ground. I imagine that something of that caliber could only be loud, scary, and destructive for folks without Christ in their lives. The only thing is that some people will be sent a delusion from God that they hadn't seen it at all as retribution for their hardened hearts toward him and will accept the antichrist when he immediately comes onto the world scene. But by the same measures, sooner or later will realize their babies and Christian friends and relatives are gone. So eventually, everyone will know if the rapture happened.

This is kinda scary but I recently heard a rumor on a forum that the "antichrist" was already here. Literally. I saw video clips and pictures of the guy that is assumed to be him. I forgot his name but he was of middle eastern descent. I would say his ideologies definitely fit into what I would presume the antichrist' is. What's scary is that muslims are already calling him "the messiah" of their religion. He claims he is not but I guess the world will see about that. I don't really know about any of that stuff. The bible said the man of sin wouldn't be revealed until the holy spirit leaves the Earth. But If I wasn't naive, I would think that this "man" would have to have been born and raised from a child into a man to take on any political or global leadership position of sorts. So even if you are a fundamentalist like me, it's not that crazy to assume that perhaps this antichrist is being prepped to be put into his position as the tyrannical world leader.
Dude, are you serious??? First of all, if you had your end time theology correct, you would realize that the "rapture" is supposed to be a "secret" event and it is NOT during the rapture that 'every eye shall see him." That is an event for the supposed "second coming."

You and a few others are living in a fantasy land or paranoia and fear, mentally checking out already. Any news that comes down the pike dealing with NORMAL events on the earth (even if they are not good) are perceived as "THE END IS NEAR!"

I mean the moderators can edit this and you can go off on me, but this is pure foolishness and I should at least be allowed to call nonsense for what it is.

We are to keep looking for the return of the Lord and continue warning others of His return it is near but we must remeber we are working on Gods time not our own.
