Hi everyone!
I was reading some scriptures today which gave a great blessing in my heart, and wanted to share them with you all.
"But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." (Rom. 13:14) Where Christ is, is heaven. If Christ rules in your heart, the son of perdition, the son of the bondwoman, is cast out.
Where is Jesus Christ? If we are able to hear it, He is to be seen within our hearts, we are to "put Him on" and walk in His Spirit. "Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Col. 1:27)
1 Corinthians deals with division among believers. Indeed, many Christians do not yet know Christ, seeing they are looking for a Christ outside them, which they shall never see. (And the flesh continues to reign herein, seeing that the witness of Christ the Anointing that breaks the yoke of sin is still to be seen in them.)
"4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." (1 Cor. 1)
We need the testimony confirmed daily within us.
v. 30-31:
"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." Jesus is our righteousness and joy! Can you feel and see Him rising within your hearts today?
2 Cor. 1:12---"For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward."
The Spirit of God vs. the spirit of Antichrist:
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error." (1 John 4:1-6)
Many people will confess that Jesus Christ was a man who lived on the earth 2,000 years ago. Even unbelievers will confess this.
But true believers in Christ are those who have the witness in themselves, who have seen and rejoice in seeing Christ within their hearts, where He comes to dwell. Many Christians do not have this witness, and therefore do not know Christ, but only imaginations and hearsay. This is where there are so many confusing and contradictory doctrines of devils.
May we all come to see, feel and know Jesus Christ within us today, in the unity of the Spirit (for there is One Lord and One Spirit) that we may be a Light and testimony of Him unto the world!
And if we are joined with the Lord, we are one Spirit with Him.
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." Rom. 14:17.
"Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" (Acts 19:2)
Blessings and Love in Christ to all,
Brian

In the Spirit , this spirit of anitchrist looks like a goat with and goat tee beard, and has two small horns on its head which represents his purpose which is to manipulate people to reject the commands of Jesus with his ; do not love your neighbour as your self, and do not love the Lord your God with all your heart.......... The Spirit of God is the Spirit of God in the earth, also known as Holy Spirit , Holy Ghost, Jesus Spirit is all the same and no other names, who purpose is to bring the power and anionting of Christ to the Believers of Jesus Christ and teach the truth of the Word of God and bring the redemption from Jesus to the faithfull, he will also judge the faith of prayer for oneness with God

Nice post, Brian. I "hear" what you are saying, for which I am thankful.

hljc - did you ever Google search "GOP - up-side-down star" ??? I have found that rather intriguing to contemplate over the past decade. It's odd.

It's frustrating to see him portrayed by Christians as having horns and a tail, when scripture clearly tells us he comes as an angel of light - one that appeals to what the natural mind sees as good and right.

little elmer you are right : 2Co 11:14 - And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
That is why it is so easy for the adversary to decieve the masses because he "looks no different that any other, his message is corrupt but with a sliver of truth to decieve.

Hi Heartsong!
I'm glad to hear that you can "hear" this!
The flesh/devil is very very subtle. People can say that they believe in Christ and yet not know Him within them. The adversary/flesh does NOT want Christ to rule in our hearts, because that is where he wants to remain.
But Christ is the New Adam, or Second Adam, or Last Adam. Mankind has been justified by the blood of Christ, the work is finished. Praise God! God is showing us His mercy as He reveals more and more of Himself to us as we move ahead in time.
All mankind has been justified, although not all know Him right now. And many are disobedient (including many "Christians"), many of whom don't know Him in their hearts. This is why there is so much darkness within Christendom. And not understanding the scriptures, but using one to destroy another.
When we begin to understand that Christ Jesus is the Last Adam, we can begin to respect our neighbor because we understand that God has justified all of us, and we ought to encourage one another in walking in the Light.
Blessings!
Brian

I think 2Co 11:14 is about Satan not anti-christ. If he is coming as angel, he then why people shouldn't worship him ?!
