Who cares, a baby doesn't need baptized in the first place.

True. What sin could a baby possibly be guilty of?

I really didn't know "Full Gospel Baptists" (whatever they are) baptized non-believers.
Personally, I am no fan of unwed motherhood.
I have seen very few good outcomes to this act. Or mistake.
My point of view is more Sociological than Theological.
It has become mainstream and accepted - but I don't accept it.
I would prefer to see two committed and well educated gay people raise a child or children than two seventeen year olds, with no education, no jobs and hair trigger tempers.

In his church I guess he can baptize who he wants.

OK now just about everyone will hate me...

I agree 100%.

As far as the OP - I mean, I guess he can baptize who he wants. But here is the thing - people make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. He probably doesn't condone abortion - but then if the girl decides to have the baby instead of having an abortion - he refuses to baptize the baby? What wrong did the baby do?

Generally speaking, and without all the extenuating circumstances that people can get into, single parenthood is not an ideal situation.

It can be both.

You don't have to. It's good to have principles.

If people hate you because of your opinions, then they are simply bigoted.

Personally, I support the pastor's right to refuse baptism to a child born out of wedlock. It's his congregation and it's his right to judge that baby. It is also God's right to judge him for judging. I wonder who's going to have the last word... him or God.

I have never heard of a Baptist church of any kind that Baptizes infants. Could this be another church?
